So...sorry I haven't been on in ages. My internet life, though still small, has been mostly dominated by the dread Facebook (networking turns into something decidedly darker there...). Anyways, in the real world, I'm working on all of my International Baccalaureate stuff (which is awful; I'm no good with paperwork and details), getting into college (I got accepted to one, so now I have a safety school. yay!), and my school work. Oh yeah, and I have to do 100hrs of volunteer work in Spanish before the end of April...I have no clue how that is going to work.
I'm supposed to be writing my historiography paper on women during the Mexican revolution. Interesting, but I'm not really in the mood now.
On a more fun note, gay prom is on the 14th!!! I got an amazing, hot pink tutu skirted, completely back-less dress that I plan on ripping up and modding a bit for the theme (Masquerade + Rave = Masquerave...I know it sounds a little silly, but whatever). I'm also going up to Salem to lobby for and anti-bullying law in Oregon, which I'm excited about. Hopefully we have a good turn out. I just started Hayden's cello concerto in C major, and it (surprisingly) isn't that hard, so I'm hoping I can get it into performance shape pretty soon!
Now this journal is entirely too long and unweildy, and I'm sure no one will read all the way through. But for those of you who do...you get to hear about my near death experiences!!
1.) Completely flipped and totaled my parents car after homecoming, and got a pretty serious concussion. Looking at the remains of the vehicle and what actually happened...I'm suprised I survived. anyways, I'm driving a bit more carefully these days.
2.) Viral meningitus! Probably caught it in Uganda (when I went bodysurfing down the Nile and got really scraped up...open wounds in African water was a dumb idea.) Anyways, the lab tech misread the gram stain and there was a huge freak out because he thought it was bacterial meningitis (very often that's lethal). I got my first spinal tap!!
Thanks for reading (or not)!!

Life is life
We were actually talking about you just a bit ago! You should convince your mom and dad that you need a family vacation in the lovely state of Oregon.
We definitely miss you too.
We're heading off to Uganda the day after tomorrow, so we're sort of freaking out about all of that. But other than that, we're doing ok.
You guys?

I just saw a bit about Paleo on the TV! It looked like it was going to be crazily good this year. Have lots of fun, and tell me about it when it's over! And you should take photos.
We're in uganda now, which is pretty awesome so far. Lots of animals!
